2023 Book Bonanza

This year we are presenting our Book Bonanza at the Sanctuary - two great weeks for book lovers!
Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 June and Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 June from 10am till 4pm.
Fresh stock every day, and the wide range at excellent prices that you have come to expect from us.
All proceeds go towards the care of our rescued donkeys.

Remember we always have fantastic book stocks in the Visitor Centre at the Sanctuary which are refreshed regularly and many people find perfect gifts for loved ones and spoil themselves with first-class reading matter in all categories. Thank you for your support!

Annual General Meeting in August

The Sanctuary has a reputation for interesting, entertaining and fun-filled AGMs. This event gives you the latest on our past year and future plans through slides and words. This is an opportunity to find out more about the Sanctuary.

St Francis Day (Sunday 1 October 2023)- celebrating animal welfare

Make every day a day to honour animals. Spend a while in our tranquil gardens: enjoy the beauty of creation, contemplate and meditate on all that is good and beautiful. We invite you to place a stone on our Memorial Cairns at any time that we are open, to honour the memory of a departed loved one, animal or human.
