Music for everyone - Sunday 14 September at 3pm

Dear donkey friends

Soon music-lovers in the Langeberg area will share in a feast – the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra will perform on Sunday 14 September at 3pm at Robertson’s Oos-Kerk.

Twenty years ago, a group of animal lovers planted the seed of concern for the welfare of donkeys in need, leading to substantial advancements in the status of these long-suffering creatures. Today, Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary, located near McGregor, is a significant player in providing care for donkeys facing distress, serious injuries or simply the challenges of old age.

You can be a part of this exceptional musical event in aid of Eseltjiesrus, by attending, if your circumstances permit. Simply contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Tickets are also available at the door (cash or credit/debit card accepted).

Spread the joy

Unable to attend? You can also choose to sponsor deserving persons to savour the enjoyment of fine music.

Sponsored tickets will benefit old age homes, blind persons, local orchestras and brass bands, choirs, children’s homes and music students. We will identify the recipients – the number of tickets is at your discretion.

You will broaden the appeal of classical music and provide an unforgettable music experience for attendees.

And of course, you will support the vital donkey welfare projects of Eseltjiesrus.

Thank you so much for your compassion for both our two- and four-legged companions!

Kind regards
